Parents bringing food to newly hatched babies inside nestbox. The eggs have just hatched and the parents are frequently bringing small pieces of food to the nestlings, including lots of spiders. At one point, one of the adults does an aggressive gesture on top of the nestbox--maybe in response to a bee. I have edited many visits into one video. The nest box is on its side because the wrens laid their eggs in the box while it was on a shelf waiting to be mounted. When we discovered that, we kept the nest just as they had laid the eggs, but we put it 7 feet up in the air and with no ledge to minimize predator problems. Elevation: 124 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
