a male perched atop a dead branch singing. This species has a random singing cycle in the rainy season in Venezuela. In some years is dead quiet in August and in other years is very vocal. This could be related with a fruiting cycle of some species of trees. Elevation: 935 m. Date added to IBC: June 22, 2016.
