Fox-Sparrow singing in mountains west of Summer Lake. This Fox-Sparrow is considered to be Slate-colored by IOC. However, all of the data that I have discovered about these Fox-Sparrows indicate that it is actually a subspecies of the Thick-billed group of Fox-Sparrows. Clements and eBird consider this bird to be a subspecies of the Fox Sparrow and not a full species. Elevation: 1516 m. Date added to IBC: May 5, 2019.
