A male Speckled Pigeon walking with nest material in its bill. The Speckled Pigeon (Columba guinea) is a common, sedentary resident that is widespread throughout southern Africa. This male was carrying nesting material at Manyane Resort, Pilanesberg National Park to its nest under the eaves of the restaurant. Elevation: 1305 m. Date added to IBC: June 20, 2018.
