Commentaires
An Australasian Reed-Warbler perching close to the water hunting small prey. The south-western Australasian race of the Australian Reed-Warbler (Acrocephalus australis gouldi) has drab plumage but an outstanding call. It is almost always found in reed beds such as these Typha bulrushes in Lake Monger near Perth. This Reed Warbler was perching on a rush close to the water in the late afternoon, watching intently then catching small prey in the cyanobacterial bloom-ridden water as they surfaced. Elevation: 13 m. Date added to IBC: June 17, 2018.
