Tawny Frogmouth chick moving towards male from nest. The Tawny Frogmouth trio we have been following from late last year has laid a second clutch of three eggs. The male has mated with two females, who sit close by during the day while he stays at the nest with the three chicks. This chick began exploring, and left the nest as it climbed up towards the male. Elevation: 7 m. Date added to IBC: February 3, 2018.
