Commentaires

Adults swimming and bathing in the river shallows. Note that some show typical reddish bill colour typical of non-breeding plumage at this time of year but others have a very dark red (virtually black) bill indicative of breeding plumage. Other birds present are Grey-headed Gulls, Eurasian Oystercatcher plus Sandwich, Royal and Caspian Terns. Elevation: 0 m. Date added to IBC: June 30, 2017.
