Juvenile bird walking around garden hut, feeding on drying corn. Compilation of a couple of cuts. Elevation: 820 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.

This was at a pondok amongst crops of corn. We were actually seeking a mythical rail with red legs, but at least found this waterhen in a very dry area. at 815AM a local grandmother said she had seen a rail. At 818Am I saw the bird for 1 second and tried to get video but was too slow. It came out of very dense peanut crop and walked in the open about 3 m in front of a limestone boulder. Got about 20 sec of video at 828AM; amazingly long toes, very long legs, long neck raised up in alarm
