arid lowland scrub (Chaco). ML: 100Hz AUHipass filter applied in soundBlade HD. Subject was making high call notes from a perch about 10m up in a tree. Rapidly flew down and across an open patch about 10 m in front of me with two or three bouts of sonation (mechanical sound).
