Détails de l'observation
Spectrogram appears more Cordilleran like but is a bit odd. Very soft first part below 4 kHz and then a monosyllabic part starting above 4 kHz and ending just above 6 kHz. I guess an intermediate bird. First for my yard. Poor sound quality because I was running an air compressor in the background to inflate the tire on my truck. After I turned it off the bird quit calling... Note 12/04/2019: I'm updating records I have sonograms for or have studied the sonograms of from Pacific-slope/Cordilleran Flycatcher (Western Flycatcher) to Pacific-slope x Cordilleran Flycatcher (hybrid). I guess I feel we know that the birds in question are neither Pacific-slope or Cordilleran so the hybrid is a better match for these recorded birds in which the sonogram is intermediate between Pacific-slope and Cordilleran. Though maybe it should be listed as Pacific-slope x Cordilleran Flycatcher (intergrade) ?
