Détails de l'observation
Thanks to L. for finding and Kris for telling all of us. Photos below. Orange band with bright green dot on the left leg. On the right leg there is a silver band at the top with some numbers legible. However, the key item is the black band at the bottom of the right leg. It reads 215 and Kris worked with John Brett and provided the following: "John Brett has confirmed this individual hatched last year at Presque Isle Park in Pensylvania (south shore of Lake Erie)". It was foraging along the shoreline on the flooded Woodbine Beach while we were there and after 6:20 p.m. It had been seen at other locations on the beach earlier. There was little human/dog traffic so it may still be present in the morning.
