Commentaires
Hand-held bird giving alarm calls, as well as alarm calls from the parents that came shortly after beginning. Tuis on Raoul Island seem to be somewhat smaller than those of New Zealand, with more white on the wings and smaller "poise" under their throats. Several specimens were collected for Dominion Museum and many more caught in mist nets and banded. Lice and parasites were collected by the team entomologist, Dr. John Charles Watt. The juvenile gives the high-pitched squeak, while the adults give the "keee keee". Specimens collected by D. V. Merton. Other Behaviors: Emit Alarm. Habitat: Park/Campus/Cemetery.
