Détails de l'observation
**rare, continuing. Tiny tan doves with scaled upper parts, long tails, and rufous on wings. First spotted one in mesquite next to B&B feeders, then it flew down and a second joined it at the feeders. Both seen at one time on the water bath, but only got photos of one. [edit from home] Both birds I saw had limited, faint scaling on underparts like one pictured, which I think would mean they are females this time of year. However, Baumann's bird from yesterday was a male with extensive underpart scaling, so that means at least 3 survived the cold. Would be cool if they got established here!
