NOTES: "All calls were given on the ground, following a flight display which I did not record." After this announcement, the bird resumed Rhythmically Repeated Calls. [Note: In editing this recording, I reduced the level of noise created by recordist chasing bird, but did not change the timing of the recording in any way. One-second breaks occur only when recordist turned field recorder off and on. mf]. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Court, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Tundra, Arctic Tundra.
