Détails de l'observation
Group of five flying rapidly south offshore close to surface of water for the most part. Barrel chested with underside of wing brown with white patch towards the tip. Top of wing darker than underside. White patch also showing on front half of the tip of the top of wing. While this pattern doesn't differentiate pomarine vs. parasitic jaegers, some photos show birds with long central tail feathers that seem slightly wider toward end, i.e., twisted; researching eBird photos of pomarine jaegers in Nov shows that these breeding feathers are still present in some Nov birds. Also, some photos show dusky flanks and bellies and tops of birds are closer to black than brown.
