Détails de l'observation
Actively feeding groups of dowitchers making occasional single 'tu' or 'wee' calls. I think these may be mostly long-billed, but I certainly may be mistaken. Body shapes were quite variable, with a few birds looking relatively slim and flat backed, suggesting short-billed, and others more rounded like the expected long-billed. Many thanks to Don Profota, who alerted me to the group, which he viewed earlier in the afternoon with a scope, concluding they were short-billed. He has provided a more detailed description of plumage and behavior. https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S49199797.
