Détails de l'observation
Initially submitted as a possible leucistic Cliff Swallow, Charles Mills thinks it could be an immature Cave Swallow based on photos he has taken of immature Cave Swallows found in the area. He states "Given the resolution, I can’t be certain but I think it’s as likely a juvie Cave Swallow if not more so than a Cliff. I’m thinking this mainly because of the narrow superciliary, the dusky auricular smudge, the hint of burnt orange in the forehead and the generally unmarked throat. Typical Cliff Swallow juvies appear darker on the head and throat. That being said, I have seen juvie Cliffs with similar foreheads but I can’t recall having seen any with an equally pale throat."
