Détails de l'observation
!!!!! Initially heard a distant song in mature, unburned Canarian Pine forest with fairly dense Genista sp. undergrowth. After some searching in the area, finally found a male singing on a low branch along the other side of the road; unsure if this was the same singing bird. Bird sang almost constantly, moving from tree to tree along the road, giving prolonged, close-range looks. Silent female foraged on ground and low shrubbery nearby, often within ten feet of me. Seemed to eat mostly seeds, but also caught a large grasshopper. Both birds eventually flew off together. Both banded. M: R: Pink, purple. L: White, silver w/ illegible number F: R: Orange, Green. L: Red, silver w/ illegible number
