YARD BIRD! Around 4:30pm on this hot, humid day I had just returned home and was in the backyard when I heard a YBCU start singing to south of house. It didn't call continuously and seemed to shut up when I walked into woods looking for it. When I backed out of woods again it resumed calling a bit. I had to run somewhere so didn't have time to further investigate. Compare my recording to tracks 5-7 at http://www.natureinstruct.org/dendroica/spec.php/Dendroica+USA/208/2239p6298?lang=en. Interestingly, back on June 28 while out planting some forbs near the back pond I thought I heard a YBCU from the alder/willow stand in the middle of my field. But it only did 1 set of calls (not the coos that I recorded today) and I wasn't sure enough to count then. So it's very possible if not likely this bird has been around since at least then.
