Incredible. I now have an answer for when people ask me the coolest bird I've seen! Arrived around 5:15pm, flew in and landed on lights on the runway. Stayed in each spot for a few minutes at a time to get good looks and photos before flying to another perch directly ahead from the parking lot. Definitely preferred the runway lights but also sat on the runway for almost 10 min before being spooked by a plane and moving. Try for this bird around sunset for your best chance at seeing it active but there's also been sightings at sunrise and sporadically in afternoons!
