*uncommon; maybe more? difficult to track looking into sun, 3 seen together 2 adults w one bird w some brown on wing still. Feeding in transects w Bonaparte’s Gulls. Noted first by more buoyant flight and size obvious at close distance, larger bicolored red and black bill obvious, dark primaries. Photos. Two birds seem to have continued west, one adult still close to shore when I left.
