Completely unexpected! Foraging with a few other passerines in sparse willows near parking lot past the dirt peninsula with the giant burn crater. I was scoping waterfowl when my daughter spotted something “weird”. Very active warbler with a blue-gray cap and wings, broken white eye ring, 2 distinct white wing bars, bright yellow throat and chest with faint deep yellow-orange band, yellow-green back, white vent. I will post cell phone photos.
