In Pintail Lakes. Moving around quite a bit but here are the locations in chronological order: 26.079029,-98.133898 26.078505,-98.133366 26.075635,-98.134312 Gorgeous stunning adult male all black except for bright yellow forehead plate, yellow bill with white saddle, and rusty brown back. In flight wings were half yellowish/reddish. Pinkish grayish legs and feet. Uncomfortably long toes. Foraging for invertebrates on edge of water and in aq veg. Would fly to different parts of the pond to forage in new areas. Stopped to preen briefly in northern pond. Met with Father Tom who got on the bird after a few minutes.
