Behaketaren xehetasunak
When I crossed the road to pine woods just outside east end of Middle Harbor Trail near wetland never heard it call in wetland today sitting at picnic table. So walked in to trail - looked at Middle Harbor and ignored the "Tink" calls. I looked at Merlin app and then realized the prothonotary was nearby and saw it near the opening to Middle Harbor only making the "tink call". I walked west a ways to the long wetland that is west of there that I have seen this species at two or three times this spring and heard the "tink" call from there. Saw it in tree hanging over canal of water south of Middle Harbor. It flew east to a tree but still heard more "tink" calls from wetland so not sure how many were making this sound. Then I would hear a very low or soft partial normal prothonotary call but usually in trees south of wetland so eventually kept walking west. Seems to favor this wetland versus the other wetland which is good as the grass there is chest high and there are ticks at this park lately.
