followed online reports on Polk Co. and caught up with other birders doing likewise. Tried to see it from hwy 22 looking north, it had gone over the hill, I went around and joined a group of 5 cars on Coville Rd looking south. My photos are from about 11:15 Pacific Daylight - (image timestamped 10:15 in Pacific Standard). Geese were very far off and I only had one shot where you could see the head and neck of the Ross's with the short beak (and some black wing feathers, and small-Cackling-Goose size.) A few others where you could see the black wing feathers, and the size but the head was obscured in grass or by Cackling Geese So glad of agreement from other people around who had better scope use than I did. The Ross's was almost straight down from the front of the front bumper of the truck (2 photos of that in the attached, a close close crop ROGO - 1a and one showing the truck ROGO - 1b.) With my naked eye view which is to say 'regular glasses' vision it was a bright white spot so far off. Two other pix of the obscured goose, given. No edits except for crop!
