Singing intermittently and somewhat softly from a perch in scattered shrubby sagebrush (Artemisia sp.) north of the cross-fence (at that point north of the property boundary), near where I saw one previously this spring, ca 15 m from me. As I moved for a better view, it flushed and flew south to the stream corridor. Later, at 0859, it sang briefly perched on the boundary fence where it is north of, and in line with, the cross-fence.
