Behavior: Picking up leaves in the mud with their bills. They did not associate with any other species of birds. Vocalizations: None. Other: Since they were somewhat hidden by the underbrush, they were a bit hard to count; there may have been a couple more. Some birds were black; others were dusty grayish with varying amounts of reddish brown (and on some of these grayish birds the brown was absent). Pale eyes, differently shaped tails than that of grackles.
