Juvenile. Photos. First noted standing on a frozen pond (43.847526, -66.128102) as I drove past. I backed up to look and couldn't see much detail due to severe backlighting by morning sun. It was being harassed by 2 American Crows. I heard gallinule screaming while it was being chased by the crows. I then went to get Ervin Olsen and walked with him from his house around to the eastern side of the pond for a better sun angle. Photos attached to the checklist are those taken from the eastern side of the pond. Rick Brown arrived and saw it from the road. Ervin and I then walked back to the road and the gallinule must have flown off because it wasn't present once we arrived to the road.
