Arabian Waxbill at Atwad Reservoir, Abha, Saudi Arabia. I encountered a flock of 10 - 12 in a weedy, shallow wadi running into the Atwad Reservoir outside of Abha, Saudi Arabia. The extent of suitable vegetation, nearby farms, and access to permanent water suggest that this may be a reliable location to find waxbills. There is one previous record for the site from spring. Elevation: 2229 m. Date added to IBC: December 27, 2018.
