Adult male, ventral view in flight, illuminated by camera flash. Viewed with fellow ornithologists during the 25th International Ornithological Congress. I don't normally photograph birds, but I had my camera out to take pictures of Araucaria angustifolia trees against the star-filled sky, and so I turned on my built-in flash to take this picture opportunistically as the bird flew past me about 45 degrees above horizontal. Elevation: 1580 m. Date added to IBC: June 21, 2016.
