A bird perched on a trunk, calling, looking around and taking off. This subspecies, from Ishigaki and Iriomote, is significantlly smaller ant its voice distinctly higher-pitched than those of any other race of Large-billed Crow. Elevation: 98 m. Date added to IBC: February 23, 2017.
