NOTES: Unseen bird was 30-40 m away and relatively high up in small trees of igap¿ forest just in from edge of a small, mostly dry, mud bath/salt lick located in a depression about 50 m in from bank of river a short distance above upper end of Trilha de Dr. Haffer; in response to playback of this song, the bird approached and began giving various calls; although my view of it from below was not stunning, the bird was clearly a male of this species [= RCR216-217, the latter an announcement; GPS coordinates for saleiro in RCR227].
