Detalles de la observación
Seen in the last light of day on the edge of the channel. Thought is might be the southernmost Common Eider on record,. but according to Stevenson & Anderson there was one seen at the Dry Tortugas in 1967. NOTE: Brennan Mulroney pointed out that the Dry Tortugas are actually about 4 miles north of where the bird was seen, so I believe this is the southernmost record of the species.
