NOTES: Recordist's notes at beginning of recording: Another common element of the intimidation displays on observing human spectators is to give "chomps", curious little sounds, rhythmic sounds made entirely within the closed mouth, I think by sort of clicking the lips. It's difficult to see how they make the noise in the wild, and also it's a very small noise so it's not easy to record. But I think they are just discernable on the following track made of an adult female Bornean orang-utan. They are given after "kiss-squeaks".
