Detalles de la observación
Only one of yesterday's four individuals could be found today. This bird had some kind of bill deformity on basal part of mandible, best visible from the bird's right side. Bill coloration also off (greenish, with darker base and tip) but otherwise structure and plumage good for this species. Rump not white (obvious in short flights it made). We did not note the bill deformity - which isn't all that pronounced - in the field today or yesterday, but it shows consistently in all the photos I have of this bird's right side. ID based on long-winged, athletic look; black legs; size slightly bigger than peep but smaller than Pectoral Sandpiper (abundantly present for size comparison); steep forehead; no streaking on flanks.
