Detalles de la observación
Photographed below the diversion dam - it reminded me of a LISP in appearance, and made a high "zeet" call suggesting that sp., but was perched uncharacteristically obviously in the open, even returning after chased by WEKI. Definitely not juvenile SOSP due to relatively shorter, sharper bill. After careful comparison, I have decided that it is not a LISP due to broad streaking on back and reddish rather than grayish coloration dorsally. Behavior is also suggestive. Juvenile SAVS matches well - buffy malar with dark stripes on either side, strong streaking on back, supercilium with little yellowish, reddish-edges remiges and rectrices, indistinct pale median crown-stripe, and pale bill that seems darker dorsally.
