Detalles de la observación
Conservative estimate. Wouldn’t be surprised if there were at least 7-10 hanging around our camp that morning. Got a video of 5 confirmed Yellow-billed Hornbills at once chilling nearby while we ate breakfast. I don’t even know where to start with these birds. They’re absolutely gorgeous and easily one of my top favorite birds of all time I’ve seen. I am so grateful to have spent so much time with them. Very first bird I got identified on my trip, and the safari guides called them, “Zasu”birds (in reference to the lion king!). They were also called, “banana-bills!”Adorable little creatures. They weren’t afraid of us whatsoever. Loved the sounds they make. See photos! :)
