Detalles de la observación
Appears to be the same bird Ruben found two days ago on the New Johnsonville islands, 70 miles north as the gull flies. Beautiful first-cycle, quite a pale bird, even on the pale side for Thayer’s. Frosty, neatly marked scaps and coverts, all blending together with the same general shade. Upper side of primaries in good light were a smooth milk chocolate brown with broad frosty edging, although in certain lighting they could appear a shade darker. Bold Venetian blind effect with the wing spread due to the translucent inner webs. Underside of the primaries was pale and silvery except for just a narrow brown line right along the very tips. Small size overall, (barely larger than ringer) with all black bill and rounded head. Many good photos taken
