I took pictures of 5 different birds, 2 on a wire and 3 in a tree. More were flitting in the leaves. They were very vocal with a combination of pips and longer bzooms. I watched for quiet a while off and on while setting up for an outdoor ceremony. I realize Merlin is only a guide, however Merlin only picked up Couch's Kingbird sound which is how I initially listed them. Merlin ID identifies all 5 photos as Couch's Kingbird. After discussing with more experienced birders, I have changed the count as noted now.
