CELL 48: 7 (male with 1 young chick moving north on the “snake” dike AND male with 4 chicks at north end of this cell consisting of 3 mid-sized and 1 clearly smaller - about the same age as the male with 1 young chick moving in this direction…returned and found male brooding - photo shows the young chick in with the older chicks); CELL 46: 6 (1 nest and a juvenile or two but…); CELL 45: 1; CELL 42: 11 (3 broods of mid-sized chicks: at least 2 next to the 70 Rd and 2 at north end of NS 2, and 3 north of NS 2 behind the two linear west-east “ridges” that are perpendicular with the 70 and 80 Rds; CELL 41: 5 (1 nest and calling male and female at SE corner of cell where the nest sans ME was…and where the kestrel was just moments ago…no sign of young - AHA! I see 1 tiny chick “frozen” on ground near the adults…now brooding at least a 2nd chick...)
