Detalles de la observación
Low tide limited access to some of the waterways but 3 of the 4 LEBIs were out along the main Hog Island Gut edges. The square photo, that barely shows the legs and back tail of LEBI, was the first one that I saw and I think it may have actually been a juvenile. I caught a glimpse of it as it flew into these reeds and it seemed more labored/clumsy in its flight than what I typically expect from adults. It was backlit and I couldn't see any of the markings as I had like 2 seconds to see it.
