Detalles de la observación
Seriously impressive passage of what appeared to be largely juveniles moving north close inshore. Averaged 1750 per minute through the course of the seawatch, distance varied a little with rain belts. Conservative estimate as birds moving through beyond about two kilometre distance where not counted. Conclusion that these were largely juveniles based on the fresh, reflective almost blueish upperwings and silvery underwings of these birds when there was sunlight. This contrasted with a few other birds which lacked reflective upperwings in particular during these same sunlit periods.
