Detalles de la observación
Never seen anything quite like this. Large sections of the gravel path in the off leash dog portion of the park were literally covered with flocks of 20-30 warblers, their abundance increasing at every turn. My rough estimate is that about 70% of them were adult males, and that of those adult males, about 8-10% had white throats (I am not using the term “Myrtle” here because I understand that subspecies ID is not as simple as what color their throat is). Either way, a wild experience to see such large groups of warblers foraging on the ground, being incredibly tame, and in such great numbers.
