A rather unfortunate photo due to the spontaneity of the situation. The body of the Goldfinch is yellow, no white spots. My camera was set for looking on shady side of darkly coloured birds, since that is what I normally encounter in my morning birding sessions. For this case I was looking on sunny side of a brightly-coloured bird.
Detalles de la observación
It was in the tree outside my balcony trying to get to the feeder on my balcony put up two weeks ago. But I stood there watching and it did not like that. Finally it gave up and flew away.
