Continuing (2 of the original 3). Though views here from a roadside location were obstructed, they were also exceptional—when the STKIs emerged from behind the trees or came back above treeline, they weren’t too far away, and feeding low. I didn’t notice this in the field, but when I was reviewing photos, it seemed that one was catching something with its feet and then eating it on the wing. Pics tba
