Detalles de la observación
Remarkably long-staying rarity, graciously sticking around for me to come visit after several prohibitively busy days. Initially hunkered down in the undergrowth just south of the bathrooms, seemingly nodding off a bit and softly whisper singing. After a brief cloudburst, it popped up into the bushes to preen, finishing its maintenance routine with a good stretch and some full-voiced songs. Eventually resumed flipping leaves in search of prey, finding hidden morsels at an impressive rate. Once flew up into the trees to having a look around, subsequently engaging a House Sparrow in an aggressive, twisting pursuit. Called frequently while foraging, and approached quite closely several times, undeterred even by noisy children running about on the path nearby. Understatedly handsome little critter of the leaf litter, with a long bill perfect for foliage flipping and camouflaged brown plumage with a warm reddish cap
