Type 2 RECR interacting in balsam fir tree
Detalles de la observación
See audio with Type 2 lightning shaped calls. Confirmed by Tim Spahr. I put in the best recording, have a few more that also show Type 2. There were 4 or 5 feeding on Japanese Larch seeds (cones much bigger than the native larch!), then a pair with courtship behavior (male feeding the female?: see picture). These ones were also Type 2 (have recording but not as good as the one entered, can see lightning bolt shape). They had been on the dirt road, then flew up into a fir tree. The larch were planted in 1992 with seeds from the former SD Warren Paper Co.
