(Found whitewash signs in various evergreens, here and there, on the way SE, along the ridge not far from river.) ... Finally, in one of the last evergreens up on the high ground near the turnaround point (across from far SE section of Lemke Conservancy Park) saw heavy whitewash signs on several branches, and as I scanned upwards, saw white spots on tan -- and an eye peering out at me from a position tucked under boughs, about 15 feet high! The individual had its eye open slightly, watching us, and then settled down again, white brown over its closing eye. ... ... (I'm rather certain that others have already observed this individual. ... I suspect that this could possibly be the same individual I heard calling from this area in January 2024, heard from Lemke Conservancy Park, across the river.) ...
