Detalles de la observación
Large, heavy set Gull with dark "slaty" mantle. Deep pink thick Legs. Pink orbital and gape. Very large Tertial cresent. Heavy streaking on head and neck, smokey eye. Nice "string of pearls" on primaries. Adult like, however black spot on bill and darker eye suggests young adult, possibly 5th cy. Great views for about 40 minutes before gull departed east towards Niagara Falls. For the sake of interest, the bill and primary pattern appears identical to the bird found in Sudbury. The London bird is a different individual due to primary pattern. Unable to compare media with Toronto bird, but looks good in comparison to Sudbury/Niagara.
