Male with greater and median coverts that have white tops (as opposed to "pale" as what are seen in juvenile EATOs per Sibley). No white patch in primary covert area as what would be seen in an EATO. Scapulars have faint beige streaks (not white as would be expected in a SPTO). Iris is light-colored, not red.
